Released in 1980, the 2nd official 45 release from the Hackney brothers since “Politicians In My Eyes”, and like it’s predecessor, only a limited 500 copies were pressed and distributed.
The 4Th Movement LP(Image of original LP Pressing)Released in the fall of 1980, this body of work represents the first record and lp release by the Hackney brothers since renaming their band the 4Th Movement. Above is an image of one of only 1000 vinyl lp records which were printed initially in 1980. The Hackneys recruited artist Jim Magnant who delivered the hand-drawn cover for the lp.

The One-And-Only 4Th Movement Performance1981. A local musical showcase club in Burlington Vermont called “Hunts” was just a couple of years old. The 4Th Movement booked a performance at the club which was scarcely promoted and attended. The club went on to become a local legend. 29 years later the Hackney brother’s band DEATH went on to became an international legend which also brought the band 4Th Movement into the international spotlight. Images from this performance have been seen all over the world.
